Now that boating season is over, gas at $2.99 in LeClaire, Iowa. About 1 mile from where I keep my boat.

Yep. I am starting to feel like a commodity futures trader in deciding when to stop in for a fill-up.

Yesterday driving home, I knew that I would need gas before another round trip commute. The price going home was 3.59 and I was betting it would go down overnight so I just went straight home.

This morning I stop to fill-er-up and the price is 3.49. So I won that bet.

Do like FR and get yourself a google of gas cans to fill up in February.

Just what I was going to say!

I know I will stop the trend by saying this but I have never seen gas drop so fast...it goes up fast and comes down ssslllooooowwwwwwwwwwww. But since Sunday where I paid $3.72, today I can find it for $3.28. That is $.44 in 3 days.

Because gas prices are tied to Supply and Demand.

Supply of American money aval for profit, and Demand of the American people not to drill or explore other alternative fuels here at home that might kill an insect or a flower.

Now there's no money Supply, and America is Demanding the next president to seek energy independence.


(But I'm sure I'm wrong)
