Well boating season 2008 is over for me. We pulled the boat out today and brought it home. However, we got a nice day in yesterday for our last boating run of the season. It was a bit windy and choppy, but very sunny.

I took the camera along and tried my hand at taking video. idn

Here is the Video for your viewing pleasure: (it is in QuickTime)

Last Run of the Season - 2008

Now, onto the 'winterizing' stuff. cry

Cool. I've never tried the video posts. Maybe some day when I'm older I won't be so internetically challenged. Looks like a good day on the water even with the chop!

Sorry your season is over tpenfield.
Thanks for the video though.

Seems like you have a lot of gauges on your dash - do you have a pic of the dash?

I hope you had a great season!

You're a better man than me. I couldn't handle not using the boat year-round.

I'm spoiled!

I hope it's a quick winter for you!

I dropped all the water out of the engine before leaving camp today.
Hoping to get one more good day of running in two weeks.
Then I have to get serious about the big W !

Last boating of the season is a double-edged sword. It's great, and it sucks. I'm not sure if we've had our last ride yet. Did nothing but rain cats & more cats this weekend so I did chores...

I don't think I have a pic of the dash . . . idn

But let's see going port to starboard, there is

Trim tab indicator
Speedometer
Tachometer
Voltmeter
Temperature
Oil Pressure
Depth Gauge
Fuel Gauge
Engine hours
Trim Indicator

Thanks for the breakdown tpen - and maybe it was the angle of the pic, but they all seem pretty big and easy to read...
