I can't help it,, I always look,, if there is a hot boat being tow by a respectable vehicle I think that is cool.. My rig is a all Red Titan and I tow Red Rinker and try to make sure it's clean and shinning whenever I start a trip,, Weather I am launching boat at beginning of season,,or taking it away on vacation..

I was at the gas station filling the boat before I dropped it off for storage.. A all white quad cab Ram pulls up towing a 1992 28 foot Skater all white with LT Blue and gold accent stripping powered by 3 freshly redone Merc 2.5 MPI drag engines, 2 long shafts on outsides and a short in the center..
Engine were mounted on jack plates and each engine had a 150 HP nitris kit... They were fueling up and getting ready for a blast across the lake.. What a breath taking package.. The boat will run 137 MPH on pump gas and the current props,, to run nitris full shot top end would require larger props and boat should top out somewhere in the 152-158 neighborhood...
Interior of boat had seating for 3 on rear bench,, grab handles for each of those seats and the fronts were very high backed pilot seats,, throttles mounted in center on a console
and both driver and passenger stations had grab bars and foot anchor bars and both station were equipped with trim controls..

I get the feeling they don't take many people out for rides,,
and that boat for sure has only one driver...

I'd like to have his bank account, never mind the rig!

Nice tow rigs reminds me of this guy (sorry to spoil the mood wink )

Here ya go, a nice pretty white brand new Escalade towing a nice pretty white brand new Cobalt...

This jerk had way more money than brains and courtesy put together. Spent over 45 minutes on that ramp trying to start his pretty new Cobalt, never mind that it was Memorial Day, this is the only ramp and boats were waiting half way down the street to launch.

"As a matter of fact, I DO own the launch ramp!"

Why was the hood up on the truck. And why would it take 45 minutes to start a brand new Cobalt?

She's running the A/C and he forgot about the kill switch.

On our ramp the dock owner tells folks to pull it up to the office where there are tools, muffs and water to get it running.

Forgot about the kill switch?? Why would it have been pulled in the first place??? idn

Gotta give newbies some slack. They obviously were painfully ignorant.

I'll guess the boat battery was dead. Then they take the truck battery and switch it with the boat bat (or jump from the removed truck bat). Figure you could get a jump to the truck from some of those who are patiently waiting for a turn at the ramp. Or they just like looking at spark plug wires.

Ok, to be fair, the Cadilbalt rig probably wasn't fresh from the dealers showroom, but they WERE 2004's (like the calendar wink )

Pretty sure the guy was swapping batteries. Only reason I can figure why he didn't ask for a jump is that he didn't want to look stupid. (but I was there time-stamping it all on digital camera to remove all doubt.)
wink
