Living an hour away from Philly and being at one Philly game this summer, this area was looking red and not because of the election.

On the news before the game 5 part 1, our local news reported on a family that won 6 tickets to the game. Someone offered them $4k each ($24k total) for the tickets. For that amount, I would have sold them.

Monday night I needed to take the trash out. I did this between innings. I came from a cozy family room sitting in front of the fireplace to basically standing in a cold shower. Again, the $24k looked pretty darn good.

The PA gov is from Philly, a few years ago during election he spoke and promised a youngster tickets to the World Series if Philly ever makes it. Well the child remembered and reminded the gov with sending the article from the newspaper. The gov, child, child's father, had some pretty nice seats. The gov. commented that the kids letter and defense was better presented then some of the senators.

Now that the WS is over, I can get to bed at a reasonable hour.

i believe i'd have grabbed the cash

and even though i am on west coast time and every Series game, and every Sunday/Monday nite NFL game, is played at a good time for us,
I still think it ought to be a bit more even, give the right side some decent times,
we could leave work a few hours early every other game or so, so you dopes could get some decent viewing times too
