If you are having a bite of the "Creativity Bug" maybe you could make some nice model boats of sailing vessels and such?

That project looks like an all consuming one to me.

That Intimidator looks like a drop topped Scimitar.
As to Seabuddys project, I see stepped hulls have been around longer than I thought. BTW, I picked up a Gar Wood three months ago. The Scripps engine is getting a complete rebuild and blueprint. The hull is getting refinished. I say go for it Seabuddy.

If you have the time and energy to put onto the restoration. The boat is an item you have lusted over for a long time and you are not planning on trying to turn a profit on your labors then grab it.

Take your time and don't feel that you have to have it completed tomorrow...
