Without an engine displacement size and Hp for that engine, I do not see any value in the boat show sign as posted as to price and value for the price.

With a 425 Hp/496 I like it, but with a 260/5.0 I do not like the price or want the boat.

Devils Advocate: Perhaps they want you to ASK the sales person/people available. Perhaps it's a marketing gimmick to give the company sale's folks a chance to "sell" the boat.

Just another line of approach.

I personally am an information buyer. I rather see the info upfront, square and easy. It's not going to change my opinion of a vessel if I have to ask the sales dude or not. So just make it easy and post the size. But, perhaps some marketing folks think different. I know i'm not a marketing major nor do I want to be one. smile

I would hate for a new to boating person to skip asking for the details about the engine displacement and the Hp.

Any word on the dealer? Are new new to the bigger bowrider marketplace? Is their primary audience Pontoons?

I think if they're a primary pontoon dealer (in this case, we don't know) then that could be yet another reason why it doesn't show on the sign.

Seems like with pontoons, the question is "how fast do you want" and since toon design effects speed more than power, the base engine is not always shown, rather it's an assumed performance level.

Perhaps this carried over to the bowrider side, even though engine size/power is not replaceable?

Again, just another possibility.

The only engines availailable are the Merc 350 mag/B1 or the Volvo 5.7 Gi. Since the sign says Volvo DP I think that answers the question.

As I mentioned in my earlier post this manufacturer usually has just one size engine for each model. I suppose that is an effort to simplify/streamline production.

What exactly are the "washdowns" included with the sink?

Maybe its more important than the engine size displacement of Hp AND THEREFORE INCLUDED ON THE SIGN?

True, after all it does not matter if you can get there as long as those dishes are clean!
