My daughter is outgrowing her LF bindings that came with her 128 Diva board. I found a great deal on some Hyperlite womens bindings for $70 (half price). I was told they will mount to any board. We were out on the lake yesterday and could not seem to get them to hold the bindings in place with the hardware that was supplied.

Do I need to install some spacers/washers to true up the board? Anyone else encounter this issue?

As far as I know the mounting is standardized similar to snowboards (with the exception of Burton). Though, the hardware (screws/washers) is binding specific. I would make sure you got the right mounting hardware and they didn't substitute them with something else.

I mounted some hyperlite bindings on a legacy wakeboard and needed three stacked stainless steel washers on each thumbscrew as hyperlite bindings are quick change that don't require removing the entire thumb screw to change the setup as the hyperlite screws were too long. I don't know if you'll need to do that with a liquid force board or not.
