We just bought our first boat, and it does not match the tow vehicle. It may match tomorrow though when the UPS guy bring me my pirate flag for the boat, since it is "ARRRRNGE"

I don't mind the Tow Vehicle - Boat mismatch, but what's up with that bimini??? I hope that's just the cover, but still, show at least SOME color coordination. I'm surprised you don't have a blue trailer.
Why in the world do you see so many black biminis? I don't want to be around anything black when I'm in the sun, IT TO HOT!
We've got a black bimini. Works incredibly well. No hotter than other dark colors, cooler than the lighter color bimini I had on my previous boat. Probably decreases light transmission. Oh, by the way, it coordinates with the boat and tow vehicle, so no color faux paux here!

Yeah, the darker biminis are actually better, since it gives your eyes a resting place in the bright sunshine. I haven't noticed it being any hotter than a light color bimini. Now, full enclosures might be a different story...
The previous owner selected the color of the canvas for the boat. It looks like the canvas is in need of replacement this winter and it will be replaced with yellow canvas all around. There's just too many other things to spend the money on with a new (to us) boat, the canvas color-coordination will have to wait.
