I am spending more time in the “shed” and am using a crappy blue tooth speaker for music. I have an AV receiver left over from a previous set up, which would serve my needs well. I have plenty if speaker wire as well, just need some speakers. Given that my garage is unfinished (studs and trusses), wondering what to do for speakers. Thinking I would Mount in the rafters, but not sure if I want ceiling speakers or outdoor box speakers. Not sure how to mount ceiling speakers w/o a ceiling.
In our barn we have some Klipsch outside speakers that we picked up at Costco last year. Have 2 inside & 2 outside. Do a great job. Figured outside speakers were a good way to go with the varying temperatures & humidity levels. Ones outside are on northside of barn & will be taking down this weekend for the winter.
Outdoor speakers that can be mounted where the wall meets the ceiling so you can direct the sound more evenly through the Shed. Take Mark up on his offer to save a few boating bux. How about boat tower speakers?
Beer makes you feel the way You should feel without beer.
They are Bose 151. Had a pair on each patio, In the screened in porch and on the dock and I brought mine from CA. Been giving them away. Replaced the ones on the dock with a Bose wireless smart speaker. Great sound and no wires running all over the dock. https://www.bose.com/en_us/products....html#v=bose_portable_home_speaker_black
We stream all our music from Spotify now. No more CD's. This house had speakers in every room including the bathrooms with a mass of wires coming out of the wall where their amplifiers were. Chop, chop, chop.
