Have loved the lines of this for many years... Waited couple years for the right options combination to come along at the right number and when it came along we pulled the trigger.

In the last little while, I have lost multiple friends, clients and family. Either passing too early or managing through some other malady that has dramatically altered their ability to savor and enjoy the fruits of what they worked for. Been working like a madman for some time, and have decided to work on 're-balancing' a bit and taking some time to enjoy a bit. If we ultimately find that the only 'gold' in our golden years is in our urine, then we will have not wasted the opportunities to have enjoyed along the way.

Not all decisions have to be 'forever', but they can be enjoyable for 'right now'. Not sure once the rose is ultimately off this bloom that the decision won't be to recapitalize for some other adventures, but for now... the sound, feeling and experience of this 6 spd manual V8 beast is nothing short of visceral.

Pinch ourselves daily for the blessings we have and for the opportunities presented that, when we took the risks, provided us the rewards for betting on ourselves. No other way to put it that I feel darned lucky.

Congratulations. Sweet car. What year? I bet that is a pleasure to drive. When I lived in CA my neighbor had an Aston Martin. Loved the sound when he started it in the driveway.

Exactly the reason I retired early, enjoy life with the family, travel with my wife, (90% of my travel was for business) build my business so our daughter can take over. and do some fishing.

There was a time in my life when I went googoo over 1970 Chevelle and El Camino muscle cars. I owned 3 at one time, one was a genuine SS454 white with black stripes, one an El Camino with a 383 'Stroker' red with black stripes and the third a bone stock absolutely clean Malibu with a 350.

The 454 would burn rubber from now to Sunday, same thing with the El Camino. The Malibu had the huevos to turn the tires but it wasn't a hard runner.

I still love the sound of a well built GM V-8 with a good exhaust.
