I know it's becoming not so politically correct to say Merry Christmas but I've never been the most PC person in the world so Merry Christmas to all.
2020 has been a helluva year for many of us. I've had my health issues, so has my wife, and we both struggle with caring for her 105 year old mom. That all being said, we have many blessings to count this year. My biggest blessing is that I'm still here to count blessings. My second blessing is my wife and being here to help with the struggles with her mom.
All that being said, we want you to know I enjoy the fellowship I've come to enjoy on BABC. May 2021 bring you much joy, fair winds, calm seas and blue skies
GFC Merry Xmas to you & your family as well as everyone else on the the forum. It has definitely been a year for the record books & one that everyone probably can't wait to end.
I' m not one to not saying something, even if it doesn't follow the PC crowd. So, Merry Christmas to all of you on this board and the people on earth you most care for. Oh yea! The others, too. (:-)

Happy belated Merry Christmas to you all. Santa was good to us. He was overloaded with all the stuff he brought us, probably a little on the buzzed side with all the spiked eggnog left out for him. He must of crash landed on some trees in front of my place and brought them down across the power lines, brought down the transformer and generally creted a mess. I spent 4 hours cutting trees to clear the road while the electric company did their thing. We also got about 3" of snow Christmas Eve and day.
Mark, I look at those pics and see a few hours of me being able to do "manly stuff". Fire up that Stihl and let's go to work.
And it's a great excuse to buy the most bad azz chipper shredder you can find. Then Use the logs you cut down to size and buy a wood fired boiler and tie in a radiant system to heat the driveway http://woodstoves.net/econoburn/econoburn-outdoor-wood-boiler.htm
Looks like a little slice of heaven to me.
Merry Belated Christmas to all my BABC friends.
Beer makes you feel the way You should feel without beer.

Well, after the 3" of snow we had I had the son-in-law sprinkle "pixie dust" environmentally friendly de icing stuff on the drive and wham bam, the snow melted. within the hour. Worked great. I need the drive clear as my 83 year old MIL is with us for the season and she has a abnormally slow heart rate. She is down into the 40's which the doctor is worried about. Doc said if it gets to the 30's then take her to Emergency. So back to the heated drive, seeing "pixie dust" worked very well then the heated drive is gone. Lots of learning for this beach bum living in the snow.
