For years I have man handled my dingy motor off the dink to move it onto my transom mount. I trailer my boat. Now I’m getting to old to keep doing this. I’m surprised I haven’t dropped it or smashed a toe yet. Wanted to know how you lift yours off the dink, hoist it onto transom mount?

I have looked at the davit cranes, but they don’t have the reach I need to clear the swim deck. One mfg. offered to modify the reach but, that pushed to cost past 1K.

I am looking seriously at the swing lift. www.swing-lift.com. Looks like the set up I need. It’s made for sailboat but in can hoist it off my radar arch. How do you lift your motor?

Around $500.00. Includes the outboard lifting bridle.
