I have to get my other Honda shipped out from Lake Havasu.

Congrats. If i lived on the water & had a dock i'd do the same. We need to hear more about the new purchase.

Having raced sports cars, I can also appreciate sporty boats.

Good looking--and they are Hondas. I think having these at a dock all summer would be the way to go. Still need a real boat for skiing and hauling more than two or three people.

Ha! I like to see other boaters with waverunners and jet skis! When we bought our Yammie a couple years ago I had some tiny part of me that was thinking, oh man, have I become one of THOSE people? The first time I got on the thing and realized how much more lake is available to us now, man, that voice disappeared.

Also, 65mph in light chop is really fun.

My daughter has two waverunners at our lakehouse. I have a blast on them... motorcycle on water. But after a few hours, it’s time to move on... unlike a boat where you spend the whole day on the water.

I still have the boat so we have the best of both worlds. I am looking for a Hobie 14 or 16 to sail arounf=d the lake. They are a blast when you lift one hull out of the water. I used to sail ocean racing boats many years ago during teens and 20's.. Trying to set up our place for fun when kids in the family come over. Bought a shuffleboard table and an air hockey table for the winter, rainy days or nights.
My grandparents were boring as a kid, that is not for me.

I am strongly considering getting a PWC next year. Our marina neighbors (and good friends) have a 300HP Sea Doo that they let me and my wife ride whenever we want, and it's pretty addictive. The machine is big, heavy, smooth riding, and absurdly fast. It also has incredible brakes and is amazingly easy to dock. They have used it for 60+ mile coastal trips and it's ideal for that. We have never done more than 25 miles on the coast aboard it, but could easily do 60 or more on a nice days.

Our friends also bought a two-place floating jet ski dock this year and offered the empty dock to us, so we have a perfect place to keep one too. My wife also wants to get one, so it will probably happen at the boat show this Winter. If we do, it will be like owning a pair of them for both couples since we would obviously let them use ours whenever they wanted and vice-versa.

300 horsepower PWC is amazing. Just watched a review of one on boattest recently & they have some really cool features. Don't have any personal experiences with the new Seadoo's but they look like lots of fun for sure. Have you ridden the newer Yamaha's FX SVHO's as comparison? few friends have them. They have come a long way.

I have not. I'll probably stick with Sea Doo though, since it's a known entity and having two of the same brand and model side by side can make troubleshooting the inevitable problems of such a high performance machine much easier.

Probably a good plan. I like how the seadoo use the linq system where you can mount a cooler, fuel caddy or ski pylon on the back.
