Never heard of Pavati. But, that's a lot of coin in the drink.

I am guessing he did not use his helicopter to assist as it is still on dry land.

Sure the insurance company was happy about that.

GW and I are heading to the biggest launch ramp on Saturday and Sunday evenings on July 4th weekend to watch the ramp rodeo. We pick evenings because the newbie boaters have been on the water all day and drinking all day and that's when most of the fun starts.

Do you drop anchor nearby or hang out on shore.

This past weekend all were a bit rusty. Some newer boats and trucks with inexperience owners and their significant others made for an interesting time at the ramp. Waited until 7:30 to pull out and it was much quieter and nice. Plus the water had calmed down a bit.

Pissin off the local insurance companies around here is a fairly common occurance... wink
--although we don't have that many people actually trying to drive their trucks on the bottom of the lake...

(this stuff is one reason we REEEAALLY miss living on the Skip)
