Hey there.

Looks like you have some potential severe weather in your neck of the woods. Big swath of potential severe weather in central washington.

Yeah, it turned out to be a big disappointment. Tina and I sat on the front porch to watch the storm go through. There were a few good lightening bolts and some loud thunder, which Sailor didn't think much of. But other than the high winds (gusts in the low 40's) there wasn't much of a storm. Whatever storm materialized must have bypassed us.

I went out earlier in the day and cut down some dead branches from our willow and moved all the furniture around the pool to safer areas, but other than that there wasn't much to do to prepare for it. I wasn't concerned about Beachcomber. She has lots of lines securing her, even with the high winds we had.

Well as it turned out our little corner of the world seems to have been spared most of the fury of the storm. Winds at the airport (PSC) just 4 miles from home were clocked with a high gust of 51mph. Trees were blown over, a Walmart semi truck/trailer on its way north from OR was blown over, streets in West Richland were overflowed with several inches of mud.

We just lucked out.
