New to me 99 Regal 2800 Bowrider, is in great shape except for the switch cluster.
Sun damage has the labels on the switches unidentifiable.

The critical ones have been diagnosed and labelled (Blower, Power hatch, Navigation lights) but that leaves another 7 switches that do something...

Fairweather daytime boating hasn't left a lot of time for experimenting.
I am hoping someone else with the same boat can be kind enough to share some knowledge.

The boating season is getting closer for us here in the great white north, hopefully the pandemic mitigation efforts will have been successful and allow for a full season of boating.
Stay safe..

Chris - You may have better luck with this question on the Regal Owners Forum

I don't have the link, but you can purchase new rocker switch covers.

If Regal followed the electrical wire code color standards, perhaps the color of each wire will give you the info you need. You might also check eBay or ... for repair manuals or owner's manuals.

I hadn't thought of the ebay angle, that is a good idea.

Hopefully that image link works (think I have it shared correctly).

I did a quick search and found this website with regal owners manual. There are some pictures that might help you before Chapter 4, but Chapter 4 will probably help you. It is around page 83 of 367.

I'll add that I have extra switches on my dash that are labeled for things I don't have.

Ontario Chris:
I tried to open your pic, but I need to log in using my Google account. Which I don't have. What am I missing here?

On Riplash's link, the color code is on page 4-2 and 4-3. You might try to follow a few of the colors and see if they are functionally uniform with what is in the manual. I think you will find that the colors in the manual match the wire colors on the boat.

Also, do the switches in Chapter 4 of the manual look like your switches?

Here's a link to the 1999 2700/2750 Regal user manual. You can look at it as a pdf and then print the whole thing or just the pages you need. Page 3-6 has a photos of the helm and the individual gauges. Again, page 4-2 and 4-3 are the wiring color codes. Page 4-4 has photos of the port and starboard switch banks. Odds are that these are the same as yours.

Chapter 12 is all the technical information any user might need some day, including electrical wiring schematic on page 12-8 and 12-9, helm systems on page 12-10. And there is much more. Best part about this site is that the manual as pdf can be downloaded as one manual. FREE! Check it out.
