Anyone here been to Desolation Sound in B.C. Canada? Certainly is one of the most beautiful boating destinations on the planet!
Most nights were spent on the hook in some incredible anchorage spots and we enjoyed scenery that most could never imagine in that part of the world, including humpback whales, pacific white sided dolphins, killer whales and more. Daytime mini hikes through the forest to crystal clear lake swimming holes, all the seafood you can eat and water temps close to 80 Degrees!

Made a few videos from a trip I took this summer and here is one of them - Hope you enjoy.

Very cool. What kind of boat were you on? The first boat you see in the video is just like mine.

That was a 2002 Sea Ray 48 Sedan - perfect for the trip.

Southern California
British Columbia has an unimaginable hidden millions of acres of treas, rock outcroppings down to the water. While in high school, I had some of the most beautiful scenes that are etched into my brain. We took a bus from Orange County CA to Vancouver--virtually non-stop--got on a ferry and had a long trip to The Malibu Club, one of the many sites owned and operated by Young Life. You can find it on a map if you check out their website for this statement and lots more:

Malibu Princess
Large groups (200 to 375 people) of Summer and School Season guests may sail with the Malibu Princess for the 30 mile trip from the Malibu Landing in Egmont to Malibu Club at the mouth of Princess Louisa Inlet. The trip on the Malibu Princess to camp takes about three hours."

I will never forget this great experience. Lights meant LIGHTS OUT! That's when they turned off the diesel generators. See more at this website:
