We actually had dinner with the neighbors last night on their dock. It was a great night getting to know them.
We cannot see their house from ours. we can see their boat dock but it aways away.
A guy showed up and pushed my dock out further as TVA are dropping the lake level. He showed up the next day with his wife on their boat and took my daughter and boyfriend out for a few hours.
We were at the market grocery shopping and answering work emails, while this was going on. Some of us have to work.
We have no internet yet and cell service is patchy at best.
A fun weekend.
Tired, home now and getting ready for work tomorrow. I nearly pulled the pin and stayed there.

We have great phone coverage as the president of a major wireless provider lives on my lake. Internet is a lot slower and costs more than what I can get at home so we don't have internet which is alright with me as we are on the dock or water most of the time. Groceries are about 20 minutes away however we bring our food down so we are not spending time shopping when we can be swimming or boating. I'm pulling the boat in a few weeks to bring her back home for winter and to do some maintenance. I'm happy for your tranquility.

Congratulations. That’s my lake! We keep our boat at Stardust. This is a great time of year when the water is still warm and the tourists have gone home. We’ve been coming here since the early 2000s. Enjoy the solitude.
