Funny- all the boats I've owned over the years, I've only actually sold 2 of them-
boat 1 the old Hydroswift, buyers of our house got that one
boat 2 the Galaxy I bought new, traded it for:
boat 3, the Kona minicruiser. Lost it to bankruptcy-
boat 4, the twin engine Reinell, SOLD via local want ads- wasn't 10 minutes after the guy drove off with it that I got a phone call, rear axle blew out a bearing--
boat 5, the Marathon, first boat Vick and I bought together, traded it in for
boat 6, the Sea ray- I did actually sell it to a friend on a take-over payment thing, but that didn't turn out so well. At least I kept the title-- it's in my signature
boat 7, the Sun Runner, bought it from a broker, same broker sold it so we could buy
boat 8, the Party Cruiser, from the same broker--also in my signature-
boat 9, the SkipperLiner, obviously still have that one
boat 10, the babyliner, after 4 years SOLD via a local TV station ad site- It was like new, and never got a phone call
boat 11, the Chaparral, my favoritest boat 2nd only to the SkipperLiner, same broker sold it for me. And they trashed the new owner's outdrive by forgetting to install the dipstick...
boat 12, the Regal, not planning on selling it any time soon --also bought from the same broker...
I have done a lot of LOOKING at boats on Craigslist, so since the price is right, why not?
