Hi

I stumble across this Auction site. Don't know much about it.

What do you think of this Auction site? Is it legitimate? Do you have any experience with this, and if yet, how do you rate it?

Thanks

MDB1

MDB1, why do I suspect this is a scam and you're looking to expand your customer base on your auction site?

Go away please.

Hi GoFirstClass

This is not a scam. I am looking to get a boat from there, and wanted to hear your guys's experiences with this site.

( I was on here awhile back)

I googled it, and don't find much about it yet.

Why would you think i am scam?

Thanks

MDB1:

Over the years, we have seen our share of individuals who have posted just to push some product, website, etc. If you had mentioned in your message that you had been on the board some time ago, or indicated what kind of boat (or a specific boat) you are looking to buy, that may have demonstrated your validity. and shown your message is not scam.

For the rest of us regulars, here is MDB1's previous message string from 2016.

To answer your question, I have had no experience with this auction site. I have, however, sold two boats and numerous vehicles on Craigslist. All have been good experiences.

Hi
Thanks Jack T and GFC

I can understand your concern. We do not want anyone pushing any sites for their personal gains. That would ruin the experience for all of us. We need gate keepers for sure.

My experience with this website above is: I was browsing thru Craigslist , and in one of the ads was this site above.

I went there, and the price is great, actually. (No pushing here).
It seems this is relative new (2016), and it's affiliated with Google Express (online shopping)? Not sure. It has that name on it.

I even googled for "how to tell if a website is scamming you", and ran the name thru Google Transparency report.

Not much shows up.

I chatted with the support person, asking a few questions. It seems legitimate.

That's why I turn to here to hear your opinions.

Thanks
MDB1

There has been a history of scams like this, cars and boats. My suggestion would be to call them and ask them where the boat is, and you would like to see it in person or send a marine surveyor or..... to see if they are truly legitimate. Tell them if you decide to purchase, you will present a cashiers check to them in person, or......... Good luck.

BTW, we have had this before. Maybe if you search this website for scam, one or more of the old ones will show up.
