My wife and I dd a 5-day cruise in Buzzards Bay and Martha's Vineyard starting last Thursday. We had a great time, especially on the Vineyard, which is ridiculously charming and fun. Here are some pics from the trip: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10214275537874295&type=1&l=fee3178b61

This is probably our last overnight trip on the boat this season, but what a great season it was. In addition to this cruise and a bunch of day trips, we did the following multi-day cruises
2 days on the NH/MA coast.
2 days in Penobscot Bay.
17 days in 1000 Islands/Rideau Canal/Ottawa River/St Lawrence River.
4 days in Lake Champlain,
And several 2 day cruises on Lake Winnipesaukee.

We put over 133 hours on the engine this year, a new record for us. It's been 13 years since we bought this boat and it just keeps getting better and better.

Dave, it sound like you're getting your money's worth out of your Regal and that's great. That's what boats are for.

Wife and I agree it's EASILY the best money we ever spent and really not that much money, in the whole scheme of things. Watching our kids and their friends grow up while boating with us over the years was awesome, and now that we are empty-nesters and really making use of the sleeping facilities, boating has totally transformed into a couple's activity we love. We went from a boat full of kids for a day of fun, to mostly just the two of us exploring the best boating destinations that the eastern US and Canada have to offer. Really looking forward to living aboard a bigger boat soon.
