Hey guys, It's me, Bowline. I have not been on here for quite some time (well, OK, maybe a little "lurking") wink. I'm still boatless as I just haven't gone out and bought one...yet. I have ben busy with work, and family. My folks are up there and there's been a lot of travel back and for the between Vegas (where I currently reside) and Tucson where Family is. We (my beautiful wife and I) have also been busy with starting up a new company to produce organic dog shampoo. We are pretty much through the R & D phase and are looking to produce in earnest this coming year (still a LOT to do between now and then). We are gearing up a website, I'm in the phase of looking for the right packaging for the product, getting the production equipment, selling larger accounts, like I said...a LOT more to do. It's exciting as pets are a larger part of our lives and producing a product that doesn't have an equal in the marketplace (that I've found anyway) is gratifying and fun. It's "pet tested" (our pup has learned that baths are not so bad after all) and we've also produced samples for folks up at our neighborhood dog park, neighbors, friends, and family. Everyone has loved it so far. The product formulation that we've landed on is really great; leaves the coat soft and manageable w/o having to add a conditioner afterwards. It's totally organic and safe (hard to find a totally organic dog shampoo product).

Anyway, I'm not trying to schill my product here; just an update on the goings on in a boatless household. I have to do something to keep busy if I can't be out on the lake!

Americans spent over $60 million (That's 60,000 Boat Bucks!) in 2015 and that number climbs every year.

Here's a toast to Bowline getting his share of that with his new company.

And here I thought the "Bow" in bowline was for the front of the boat. I guess it is really the first syllable of a dog's bark.

Last Sunday night on Shark Tank, one of those entrepreneurs looking for Shark support, their product line included organic dog shampoo.
