HF, what a great video. Was that a law enforcement boat crossing in front of you at 2:00?

And don't tell me those were your kids on the boat with you? They can't be that old, can they? Have we been members of BABC for that many years?

Wow.

Thanks all. It was our first time on the Big Bay. Other than our attempt a month earlier when I had the fuel pump problem.

GFC
We have been on this board for quite some time. The 'Woman' in the front right seat is our daughter. The couple who come in from the rear is our son and daughter-in-law.
Sometimes I can't believe we've had this boat for 10 yrs now.

And yes, that was law enforcement.

Our son-in-law who just recently returned from Afghanistan will be here through Christmas and New Years. We might go out one night in Newport Beach harbor during the Christmas Boat Parade.

Take care all

HF, tell you SIL I said "Thanks for his service. I tip my hat to him and wish I could buy him a beer". Your video prompted me to look up on the User List to see how long I've been hanging around here sharing the love of what we do for fun.

It's hard to believe but as of two days ago I've been here for 13 years.

My how time flies when we're all having fun!

Pretty nice quality, wut was the camera?

When my parents lived in Newport Harbor I used to see the Christmas parade. Well worthwhile, but a boat is not needed. As the island is surrounded by a public sidewalk. Perfect for parade viewing.

blush Geeesh, now you made me blush. The time has gone by quickly and it's been a great time on here. I'm a member of 3 other boating forums, none as long as this one and none with anywhere near as many posts. This has gotten to be a bit like a second home. Pretty comfy on here with all you guys.

Looks like you have a tower. Is it the same as mine--Monterey?

How did you mount the camera? Got a picture of it mounted?

Agree with all the good vibes about BoatingABC. Just checked my registration date--Wow! January 10, 2003. Not nearly as many posts as GFC, though.

Have a great day of boating
