Reading this morning on the cold weather many of you are suffering under across the country. I feel for you all.

Just be aware that us on the West Coast are suffering too.
It is nearly freezing here this morning. It was 48° while I was riding my bike along the beach watching the sun rise. grin

It's ok. I'll take it. Time to try my hand at ice fishing. And PS, when you get that land on the lake, it'll be cold in the winter.

The forecast calls for -19F temps Sun/Mon. That is bleeping cold!

We got nearly two feet of snow earlier in the week, and now they are calling for another 5-10" of snow.

Oh, and strong winds as well.

It was 32* here this morning but now (1:40) it's up to about 45. Sunny, no clouds, not a hint of a breeze, and it's game time!

January Football, played as it should be.

Enclosed Stadiums should be banned
Astroturf should be banned

If it's 110F, you play football.
If it's sub-zero, and snowing, or freezing rain, you play football.
If it's raining, and has all day, and lightning isn't blasting around (I'm not sadistic), you play football.
If the wind is blowing 60mph, you play football.

Ahhhhhhhh............ If only I were emperor of the world. lol

Yea, +21 here, expecting 0n before the weekend is over, and I am deer hunting every day, all day (sunup to sundown unless I shoot something).

Albore told me the planet had a FEVER, well, WTF is that "global WARMING" thing he's been spewing about? LMAO!!!!

I think 1970's "Global Cooling" has shown up in a relapse!

I'm down with those changes to football. It's a pansy game now. There were more weather delays than I can remember this year. At least there were a couple good snow games.

We just got back in from 2 hours of sledding with our 3 1/2 year old. It is snowing pretty good & we figured we should take advantage of some outside time tonight before the bitter cold hits. She had a blast & did not want to come back in.

Loving it!
We have lived in MD for four years now - first time we had single digits was last night thumb
All four cars have antifreeze that is good for 20 below or more.
Propane tanks are at 65%, the furnace is working well - so bring on the cold bow
I love seeing my breath and walking in to the cold air.
Also love the crunch of car tires rolling over frozen snow and ice d
I kept all my cold weather gear from the military when I was stationed in ND and upstate NY.
I am glad to still use it smile

Supposed to get 12" - 14" of snow and windchill of -30. Supposed to drive to Chicago on Tuesday...don't think I will be doing that. I do love winter and the snow. But -30 is a little over the top.

Stay safe everyone...

3 degrees here this morning. I was on Main St. at 5:30 removing Christmas decorations. Other than the hydraulics on the truck responding a little slow, it didn't feel too bad. Much better than the -10 of yesterday.

Sure thing. I bet the NFL execs and the all company execs that end up with the tickets are getting a little nervous. I would love to see the temp at 0 at kickoff.
