Anyone ever use this service? I'm looking at a trailer and the seller want to use them as the "middle-man" so to speak...

That domain name was only just created on Sep 30th of this year.

That's only days ago. Meaning that prior to Sep 30 there was no such domain name on the internet.

I would not touch it with a 100 foot pole.

Here is the "lookup" info for that domain name:

This lookup has the creation date as Oct 1st. Just a time zone difference I am sure.

I doubt that you want to do business with an outfit that lists " MaisieHoseman38@hotmail.com" as their contact info.

Also, the address listed does not appear to be legit according to a google map search.

This screams SCAM.

The zip code they show is for Humble, Texas. Interesting. I wonder how long it will be before the griping comes in about how people got ripped off?

I was just caught in the Demarco trap and lost $7000
They do look legit and the Dr.Christine Materese is a real person.I did call the hospital she supposedly worked and they said she doesn't work there any longer. If they use doctors names for credibility this one does exist.I even found her photo linked to a couple of hospitals
The CL ad was 23 foot Harris Legend .

Sorry to hear about your financial loss. They have folded up their tent and moved on . . . Not sure if/when/where they will show up next.

This whole pattern of using doctor's names (either real or fake) to add credibility to the interaction of the scam seems to be a mis-directed cultural thing.

It seems (to me) quite out-of-place that you would have MD's or PhD's selling stuff on eBay and CL in the USA. idn

Since the scam seems to be based out of India, perhaps that is the cultural difference that the scammers have failed to realize, having done a good job in convincing some people in most other aspects of the scam.

I am just amazed (in a bad way) by the number of different angles the scammers come from. I got a voice mail on our home phone - the lady sounded like a ground mother, introduced herself as Mrs. Palmer, and sneezed during her spiel, saying "excuse me" after the sneeze. I googled the phone number, and many people posted about getting the same scam message, including the sneeze. Apparently, the sneeze adds credibility?

I also got several voice messages from the IRS threatening to arrest me if I don't sent money immediately. Funny how they had a thick Indian accent.

Then there are the emails....

And I listed a few items for sale on CL this fall - each item got some robo-responses.

Last tax season, some fine folks submitted tax returns for me. Very kind of them. However, they way under reported my actual income for some reason. Hmmm, wonder why. Luckily the numbers were so far off that they got flagged by the state and the IRS.

And the list goes on......
