Nice work. I jumped back to page 1 to see what you started with. Wow. I should be doing what you are. A bath remodel was on the list of winter projects but winter is almost over and nothing is started yet. Maybe next year....

Barb said "Oh look a loose tile" and the next thing you know I had the whole room gutted, because the drywall under the tile was all rotten. I love being a homeowner X2!!

And the same tile we used in the bathroom of our previous house. It worked great for us!

We bought the tile from Lowes. We walked down the tile aisle, my wife saw a tile she liked at the beginning of the aisle and I agreed. I said lets continue so we did and we found another tile that we liked just as much at the other end. After a few walks back and forth we couldn't decide which was better until we looked at the name and realized it was the same tile in 2 different locations. We grabbed a cart and loaded up 4 cases of tile.

The toilet will be installed this evening however the plumbing connections will have to wait until I can hook up the toilet supply line this weekend. The tub surround and vanity light are installed as well. The outlets and switches have been replaced.

More pictures to follow.

My father just called and said he wants a free room on Sunday at my house. Tonight I will be caulking around the tub surround, the caulk says it needs 24-48 hours to cure so the 48 hours will be Sunday, he will be taking a shower on Monday.

Good sign is that I finally cleaned the window after a year of construction dust.

I put a roll of TP on the holder d , caulked around the tub. Tomorrow I do some touch up paint and connect water for the toilet.

I love that vanity light! You're doing such a great job, and that last picture is priceless.

Looks great thumb
And - that last pic is adorable!
It made me look through my pics where the kids have helped on projects - thought about posting a thread on kid helpers.

Your vanity light looks exactly like the one in our main bath.
And your tile looks the same as we put down in our last house.
Amazing how styles are so close from all over...
