I'm trying to find a topic I authored in the Misc (I think) section where I was asking for help id'ing a piece of furniture that was some kind of stool. I cannot find it but am unable to search just for topics I authored.

Any ideas?

No.... I am NOT going to do something sleazy like ask for money to retrieve what you are looking for.

D-Rod is correct. There were a LOT of topics that went into the bit bucket a while back for the live board. However, I have complete backups along the way and can retrieve pretty much any and everything ever posted here.

However, it would take a little effort to do. So.... For you, I would be willing to do some digging if it is something you really need to get to.

Also, think hard about what "key words" would help in a search. Much easier for me would be to create a SQL query of the DB for your keywords.

Perhaps we can find that which you seek.

I'll give a few links in second but fair warning, for some odd reason I have been getting emails lately saying I have a private message from the forum. The name appears to be Russian and I don't know any Russians! I haven't logged in for years and have no intention to now. I'm not sure if the forum is still active, has been hijacked or what, but I have no idea what my password was and have no reason to try to recover it now. Maybe just a rogue member spamming other members via PMs. I never got a single thing from the site for over 3 years, only recently these PM notifications started coming.
