Anyone else ever get a warning screen like these? First time for me. The Red one was first and then the 2nd is what shows when I hit the "Safe Browsing diagnostic page" link in the first page.

It only happens on the "Gear Lube usage" thread, but happens every time I try to go to that particular thread. The thread appears for a moment and then is replaced by the red warning screen.

It displayed ok for me with Firefox also, but I noticed that it initially displayed and then re-displayed - almost like a refresh - after a half-second. Then it was fine. It did seem odd. I'm running Avast with current signatures, which didn't catch anything harmful.

Thanks, I'm using Chrome with CA Security Center but it seems like it's Google Chrome that thinks there is a problem. I thought about using IE or another computer, but not sure I want too after seeing the warning!

That one thread is the only one it happens on and its just as you describe Mike. It loads, then after a beat it seems to do a refresh, but the refresh is to the warning page.

Looking at the page source, there's a reference to www.7173parts.com/hosting. It appears the pics in jmoffett's sig are hosted there, and that's what's triggering the warnings.

Maybe you need some more browser plug-ins.

Works fine on a Mac smile

I would bet that Google had another hiccup with their bad web site upload again. This happened a while back with the Google search engine and caused a bunch of warnings to popup on the search page. Check it again and see if the same error page displays.
