Can go 50 mph and has enough juice to last three hours apparently. I'm guessing not at the same time.

Then what????? Plug it into the coal fired electrical socket to charge it back up idn

IMO..... if you are truely wanting "green" this is not the answer, just maybe you should be sticking to a cannoe or paddle boat instead.

I think you just hook it up to a solar panel and in just three weeks you're set for another exciting 3 hours of chasing sailboats!!

It fixes part of the problem many have with Jet Skis, the annoyingly loud buzzing. Doesn't fix the stupid operator issue though. Silent or not I'm sure that sailboat was thrilled be be getting hit buy its wake at close range.

I'd be interested in hearing about the battery pack. if you could swap batterist in a few minutes for another 3 hours and then charge your multiple batteries at home over night.

Boatless, but shopping.

Have you heard the newer PWC with the four-stroke engines? Sounds far different than the two-strokes PWC you may be familiar with.

I agree that this doesn't do much about the "stupid operator issue".

Regarding the sailboat - it looks like the sailboat was in cahoots with the electric PWC. Part of the video looks like it was shot from the sailboat.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Acceleration seems to be lacking a bit. Might be fun to sneak up on someone.

I would rather have the jet ski with the big motor.

Ok fine but electric can sound awesome too.

Check this out and let me know which race bike sounds better. Electric motor or ICE engine?

B O R I N G!!!!

OK the electric bike kinda sounds cool, but:
1. why were they going so slow?

2. a properly tuned ICE bike would sound a million times better than either of those.

but hey it's nice to see some new developments.

i saw a video of an electric dragbike called "killacycle" it sounded like a giant cordless drill... ho hum.

They're just testing it out. Getting read for the TTXGP zero-emission eGrandPrix motorcycle race at the Isle of Man this week.

They make huge strides.

Check out this looker. MotoCzysz E1pc

120 miles per hour on the dyno in under 11 seconds. You have to hear it. It will also be at TTXGP race.

A better pic of the rumbler- note that blower says "Mercruiser" on it grin
(this was in '05, new rebuild of the original blown 454, 1984 Formula, they were getting no water)
