So far, the weather is not looking very warm -- low of 43, high of 64. I am thinking that unless the forecast changes substantially, it is going to be in the mid-40's at 9am! Do Cobalt 24SX's come with heat? We have canvas, but nothing to warm up the cockpit. What do you guys think about meeting up for breakfast around 9am and launching around 11? It ought to be a bit warmer by then... Whatever schedule we end up with, please keep in mind that we are trailer boaters with a 1hr drive from home and prep/launch that needs to be completed before meeting up. I can be pretty flexible, but I am not sure it is wise to get my admiral and mates up early on a weekend to go boating in 40 or 50 degree temperatures. OH, you are right about the past weekend. I took this afternoon off and went for a cruise out of Leesylvania with my BIL. The weather was in the 50's until 10am, in the 60's until 1pm, and almost 80 degrees by 3:30 when we launched. Hardly any boats out and the whole river was smooth as glass. We ran down to the 301 bridge and back, and were out of the park around 6:30. A beautiful day!
