The only reason that Alabama didn't get beat was they had an off week. And if Texas hadn't played Oklahoma, they probably would have lost too. That is the type of weekend it was. It will be interesting to see how the polls turn out tomorrow. I can see OSU making the top ten, but more likely they will be ranked about 11 or 12.
Mizzou had an offense that was considered unstoppable, but OSU managed to shut them down, including 3 interceptions. And they did it on the road. Trouble is, we still have Tech, OU, and Texas to go.
Im worried about OU, Tech, and Texas too Seadog! At least we don't have to beat each other up this year. OSU looks *VERY* good this year! They should be ranked in the top 10, but should be, like you hinted, is probably will not be. ugh!

I don't know if any of the major teams will go undefeated this yr. Seems everyone is having at least one meltdown game. I was pretty impressed with OSUs win over MZ.
And no one said the Big 12 wasn't any good, just not as good as the SEC overall IMO. But a close second. Now that teams are playing the tougher parts of their schedules, the cream will rise to the top.
Bama should be #1 this week but I would not be surprised if TX jumped them.

Don't shed any tears for OU (not that you would!). They're plenty good, I promise. D-Rod, the Big 12 North is yours for the taking as I see it. I think OSU is better than people thought, but their defense is average at best, in my opinion. If they can handle Missouri, Kansas should have no problem.
