Nice pictures! And you have registration numbers on your boat! (They are not in the correct place, by-the-way! But don't worry, mine are in the same place too, and I have never been stopped. Not even with the IL sticker all sun faded. )

We stayed at Ozark Mountain Resort at Kimberling City. It is situated on a big cove close to the Kimberling Bridge.
The cove had always calm water and not a lot of boaters around during our stay.

Big change from our muddy pond. We went to TRL when the Illinois River was closed to boat traffic.
TRL is clean and clear and not a lot of big boats and big wake like Lake of the Ozarks.
It was not as clear as last year though. Maybe due to the high waters early this year.

It was pretty cloudy back on the 4th of July when I was there, but was still a magnitude clearer than the mud ponds I am used to arround home.

Think I'm going to be on TRL more often in upcoming years.

Sadly, during the first year of owning a boat I haven't been able to make it to TRL this year, and it is our favorite lake. Mark Twain is where we spent most of our days on the lake, with a nice relaxing 3 day weekend at Bull Shoals (which I like better than TRL, but the wife likes to shop and there aren't many options at Bull Shoals)
