apparently so and thanks for stepping up and breaking that streak. i've noticed a disturbing decrease in forum activity over the last few months. actually, i was disturbed before noticing it, but that's another story.

Due to the highest gas prices we have ever seen this summer I think that a lot of people haven't been using their boats as much. Maybe that's why the board has been quieter?

I could care less about post count, not sure if/why anyone does? I've never 'noticed' anyone doing it. Even if someone IS purposely doing it, after about 4 or 5 thousand posts, posting for the sake of count is going to get old, isn't it?

Easy fix, don't show post counts. In the user list, go ahead and list names in order of post count, just don't show the actual post count.
