Probably the worst thing that has happened to the taxpayers in my lifetime.

Folks, I'm afraid this will be the end of boating, and a lot of other fun activities for a whole lot of Americans.

Our country simply will not be able to pay the debt, if this isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back, then it's very close to it.

Apparently, the stock market tanks. It was up 300+ before this passed. Now it's down 20. c

Exactly... Now they will go from fear back to fundamentals (Hopefully) and the stuff will hit the fan.

How soon before voters realize that we have no representation in washington?
Will it ever happen?
I am so disgusted I can't see straight.

My outlook on this is pretty bleak, so I will not write what I am thinking. But the gov in its arrogant and elitist views has brought this country to its knees. I feel so bad for our children.

The dumbMasses don't care. Bring on the Nanny State.

I heard Senator Saxby Chamblis (R-GA; who voted in favor of the bill) in an interview say that most Americans just don't understand how complicated a problem this is, how serious it is, how most citizens do not understand how to govern, and that it was his duty to do what is in our best interests. That is why he voted for passage of the bill. He reiterated the same in an email to me. I'll get the text of that email in a few minutes and post it.

Justi can't see. I can't eat. Great.

At least the New Deal paid for public works... Such as Hoover Dam and the U.S. Highway System.

This is nothing but a raw deal. Putting people to work so they can pay their bills and creating the infrastructure for business to use in goods movement was/is a far better solution to this problme.
