Has been quiet for a while on any new updates to the engine offerings by Merc and VP...

We all know the 8.1 is going away in a few years, but was wondering if the 6.0 will be offered in 2010 ??

Times are slow in the industry, and maybe many hours spent on R&D for the CAT equipped engines, so they're not looking at the replacements ?

I know that D-Rod might have some answers !!

What are your thoughts on DTS?

Volvo made a cat for their 8.1L, as i'm sure you are aware. 400hp.

Volvo's cat 3.0 now produced 150hp too.

I absolutely love the DTS....

The single lever operation during cruise is awesome along with the auto sync.

Wish Cobalt would offer it as an option

D-rod I used to have a friend that worked as a delivery driver for crownline boats and they came equiped with them. He never had one bad thing to say about them. Also said it makes you look like a pro when docking.
