Billy, you are drinking to much river water. The steelers are like the cowboys, live it up to let you down. smile

For all those thinking how the poor chargers got so screwed, denver lost a game on a very similar play last year to the bears. Grossman fumbled (though not while passing), bronco picked it up and was headed for the end zone and whistle blew. Bears got the ball back even though the refs agreed it was a fumble but used the old "inadvertant" whistle. Bears scored winning TD. Difference is, Mike Shannahan did not whine for days like poor little norvy.

Bad calls happen to every team every year. It's part of the game.

bank, the Steelers have consistantly won 10 games a year, are in the playoffs every year and have won a Super Bowl in the last 20 years. Not much let down there.

Become a Steelers fan, then you'll get used to winning. And since they aren't on TV on Sundays much in Illinois, you can still go out boating!

I'm an Eagles fan unless they are playing the Bears. I lived in IL until I was 8, moved to Philly until I was 17, then I've been back here ever since.

All teams are on TV, see the below post. Football is the main reason why I did this...

I am sorry that you are an Eagles fan. sick You seem like a nice enough guy otherwise. laugh

And yeah, I know, if I want to Pay $$$$$, I can watch any game, but since the Steelers are an elite franchise, they play enough on Sunday Night and Monday, I get to see a few of their games a year. thumb

"It's only sprained", and they'll do fine, it was sprained before the game in Cleveland. Of course the cheap, unpenalized late hit by "Big Baby" didn't help, but Ben never left the game. They'll be just fine. They are a running team. As proven last year, when without Willy, they lost their first playoff game.

You'd think they'd be able to win the home opener. What a disappointment.

The Bears will never be a first-rate team until McCaskey starts spending some money for a quarterback. Orton had a solid B as their QB today, and Lloyd was a star receiver. Unfortunately, not enough to boost the points ahead so the defense could keep Tampa out of the end zone in the 4th quarter. Weak.

Wonder what was separated on the offensive line? Oh wait, that would be their brains from the blocking schemes! Wow, what a pitiful performance. I am a little sick about it.

Is there now hope for Lions fans in the future? Millen gone.

No. The fish rots from the head. Millen has only been there a few years. The lions have been basically dead since the Edsel came out. Probably Karma.

Sad that 8 years is just "a few years" out of how many years the Lions have not been a good team.

Of course there is hope for them. After all, nobody has been worse in the years that Millen has been there! shocked So they can only get better, right? grin
