Well, after ~6 months of unemployment, and starting a new business the past few months, we decided we've got to take at least one long trip this year.....this will be the first (and only) time out this year.....dates are almost firm....we'll be there through the weekend for sure....
Good deal on starting up the new business. Hope it is working out for you. I will probably be at Mohave the week before (September 18 to 22)for the annual house boat trip with the guys.

MD - will mark the calendar and try to schedule. Our youngest starts a new school and it may be tough. Haven't been able to get to the river all year. It would be nice to swap "Troop" stories with you.

Just finalized the dates today.....we will indeed be getting there midday on Tuesday, 9/30 and leaving for home Monday morning 10/6.....staying in the RV park and boat slipped.....will be a great trip......boy, I am ready!

Hmm - On the "Kat's Landing" DeepV thread was talkin' bout an October trip. Cool if we could all coordinate for 1st weekend in Oct. I'd be up for that. Water temps still swimmable, eh?

Well it was 82.6 on fish finder, by the dam, Thursday night and the basin is about the same. Its starting to cool off a little here but not much. I normally swim to the end of October.

Early Oct date doesn't work for us either. I'll check with the wife about 2nd or 3rd weekend. We want to make a trip in Oct, but haven't talked about dates yet.

Leaving on this trip on Tuesday.....can't wait.....staying at the RV park @ Cottonwood Cove.....boat will be slipped there.....I'll try to monitor Channel 88 if any BABC'ers are out there....
