For two months I have been waiting for the blasted NASCAR races to get off cable, so I can watch them again. Saturday was to be the big decider for the cup race and was to be the first of the fall races on ABC. That blankity blank Hanna is going through right now, and they are postponing the race until Sunday. But apparently ABC thinks that some worthless basketball game is too important (who watches those anyway?) so the race is going to be on ESPN (Expensive Sucker Plucking Network) instead. I think it has me a tad upset. Especially since most of my weekends for the next couple of months are spoken for.

When we used to buy tickets for Atlanta, I'd always take Mon off in case race was delayed.
There was this one fellow standing in concession stand line at one of those Monday races that probably hadn't been sober since Fri qualifying. He had called his boss and his boss wouldn't let him off work so he quit his job to stay and watch the race!

Well you could always just pop a few sleeping pills... they have the same affect as watching NASCAR!
I took my sons to see a race at Dover and was snoring by the third lap, didn't wake up til the race was over. Come to think of it that was the best rest I've had in a while!

I get ten channels off the air that have more content than I have found with most cable or sat. There are only about three or four cable channels that I would like to have and I am not willing to spend an outrageous amount for so little. With what I can get on the internet, it is getting more and more difficult to consider going that route. I may consider it when they get the prices down and you can just get those channels you want to pay for.
I think there's a lot on, just no time to watch it. I assume when I'm at work my family is watching occasionally but who really knows. As long as I can get the big games that's all I care about. Just got the Big Ten Network last week.
