Some pics my friend sent me after I forgot my camera on our last trip.

From L to R friend, cousin, brother enjoying themselves early in the trip. (brother always has that look on his face) grin

Some video of porpoises, sorry for the bad quality

Still playing with my radar to figure all the bells and whistles out.

Heading back

Yours truly cleaning up

Nice.
Where did you launch?
How was the weather/wind/swells in the channel?

Launched from Davies, like it a little better because of docking/ramp. Was very crowded, left the house around 4am and we got there around 8 or 830.

Missed the last mooring in Avalon by five minutes so we cruised up to Two Harbors for the first day.

My brother caught around a dozen or so fish from our mooring, but none of them were worth keeping. (no pics, you'll have to take my word for it)

The waffles and eggs were excellent the next morning. My cousin loved it. grin funny

My usual mood when off the boat.

Mood when headed back to boat.

Overcast and chilly Sat. morning. Pretty calm going over, the video makes it seem like a hurricane was blowing, maybe 10 kts. Fog burned off and the weather was beautiful. Coming back was little rougher, slowed down a bit to smooth out the bumpy ride.

I've had many beers on that patio at the Harbor Reef.

Did you come back in the afternoon when the wind's up or was blowing already early in the morning?

BTW, that's a nice shot of the island with the deep blue water and Hamilton Cove in the background.

I can see the chop and you're still in the wind shadow of the island there.

If my memory serves me, I believe it was blowing even in the morning.

We had some beers, and we tried one round of the Buffalo Milk.

Exactly that.

There's a herd of Bison on the island from making a movie some 60 or 70 years back.

First picture, is that a fleet of rental sailboats, or did everyone just keep up with the Jones'es?

And stay in a good mood. smile

FR, I'm not sure, maybe.

Those were in Long Beach, there is A LOT of keeping up with Joneses going on in Southern California.
