seabuddy Admiral Registered: 12/15/02 Posts: 28861	Ours was raced in the 1920's with about a 12 Hp. We could not get that O/B started. So we rigged the 40 Hp we had from the water ski boat on our old racer boat.

seabuddy Admiral Registered: 12/15/02 Posts: 28861	This was about 1960. We did not rig gauges on our boats then. Heck, my Uncle was so close to the engine, we did not even have a gas pedal or throtle. He just reached back and controlled the engine speed off the engine.
