Philr Admiral Registered: 03/20/03 Posts: 1438 Loc: Rock Island, IL	I can certainly imagine how this sounds "turned on", or "open". What I'd like to know is what it sounds like "closed". Is it nice and quite, like a normal, thru-hub exhaust, or is there some added tone to it? seabuddy Admiral Registered: 12/15/02 Posts: 28862	When open you hear it, especially if its on the hull side versas the trnsom. When new and closed its quick. When "broken-in" the metal flappers make a noise, especially at 5 mph type speeds. Many do not like the clapping.
