I found what I think is a good deal on Four winns 260H. I boat pricing has been discussed in numerous threads before but I thought I'd get some unbiased opinions. I think it is a good deal but I want to see what people without any emotional attachement think.

Four Winns gives its dealers a different discount on the options vompared to boat/engine.

Asking is just a starting point as you know. Get it out the door for under $60k and I think you made out very well.

Four Winns tabs. From a previous post Bennet tabs seems to be the answer. Any concerns with the dealer adding them? I assume that they would do it correctly but it has to be easier before final assembly.

That is the price plus tax and title. Ase far as equipment I am covered shouldn't need anything but I'll see what I get added.

As long as you don't use the same dealer PhatboyC used on his Doral, your dealer should do a good job for you.

It's a buyers market, act like it...

Make an offer of 55K and see what happens. In a few weeks (if not already) it will be a non-current model.

You can always go up, but it's not so easy to lower your offer once it's made...(especially on a new boat)

So you pick it up at the factory? I did not think that Four Winns did that.

Tennja - get the dealer to throw in PFD's for your family, a throw cushion, a tube and a tube towrope and get the price under $60K, tax included.

No anchor, line, and chain?

The price includes freight. Good question on the anchor? I assumed it came with one as my current boat did. I have an extra rode so I need them to throw in an anchor.


As far buyer's market I need to be a little careful as I have to trade mine in. I am working to set the sale price before I throw my trade in the equation.
