I am looking for a tube that will get some big air off of a wake. The tube will be used in Lake Michigan.

Does any one have a recomdendation? So far I like the Rave sports Mambo.

Our old Patriot Duo would get air pretty good. I would think most tubes could get air with right wake and speed (not excessive!). We just bought an el cheapo 2 person tube similar in design to a Connelly Dually (inflatable floor cushions and head rest).

We needed a safe "sit down" tube for my young niece and nephew (3rd graders) last weekend. 17 year old daughter and boyfriend took a ride in it and got several feet of air. Once, they flipped upside down in air and heads looked to be 2' or so from water.

After extended family left, the 3 kids loaded up with one it the new 2 person tube, 1 each on our flat deck tubes. Single person on the double tube would straddle the seat divider and lean way back causing front to left up and they'd pop right over top of the deck tubes. It was pretty cool!

I agree getting a tube to go airborne is more a factor of boat wake and driver maneuvering. Flat pancake type like a O'Brien super screamer will go big.

How about a Kite Tube or Manta Ray? Those get some pretty good air.

We get our big air with a Connelly Convertible. I think it technically a 3 person tube, but I would say 2 for crazy rides. It is a flat pancake style tube. The kids love it, and adults fear it!!

I have a Rave sports mambo on the way! Hopefully it will do the trick!

The giant pancake tubes will fly a bit. look at the 90-100 inch round models.

Problem is they'll flip pretty easy when you get them in the air. Also, they are pretty unwieldy to handle around the dock.

Our "Air Force" tube gets good air, if I do my job as driver correctly.

Launched it 4' vertical once, the 2 atop it were about 4' above it moments later (8 feet total).
The lake broke their fall tho, well before they hit bottom.

They liked it so much tye got back on the tube (dane-bramaged children LOL).

Speed wasn't key, wake-launch ramp size is. Speed helps tho. haha
