Logged day number 40 today. My season best record (April to Nov) has never been higher than 38. Getting it done and being at work by 7:45 isn't too bad either.
I can't stop smiling. smile

Ski day #48 this morning.

Had to scrape frost on the car before driving to the lake.
Frost on the dock.
Smoke on the water (ok, water vapor due to temp difference)
Air 37. water 50. degrees
Glass.
Only one fishing boat.
Fall colors were awesome.

Not sure what ski day it was, and no frost to scrape but I got out for a run yesterday after a cruise to the Rusty Rudder for lunch on the lake. 70 degrees air and 67 water...so not quite in Skibrain's class!...it felt good though.

I tried out the Kidder and it felt a little sluggish, in that I had to keep upping the speed but it was amazingly smooth across the wake. It came w/ a wing though that is mounted at an angle; I will take it off next outing. It was easier to get up on than the F1X as expected.

There was a little breeze, but it was a nice day w/ the fall colors kicking in.

What a pretty day. Fall skiing is the best!

I recommend scoring a notch in the gel coat each time you're on the water. How else can you keep track to impress your friends on the boating forums?

It is a balmy 39 degrees this afternoon in MN with NW winds gusting to 26 mph. When I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning, there was ice on the puddle next to my car. Oh well, in two months the days will start getting longer again...and then spring skiing can't be too far away! smile

It will be no wind and low 50s by noon on Weds. I may see if I can wrangle a lunch time ski....have to make it at least 50 days by the end of the year!

Skied today over the lunch hour (OK, it was a lunch hour and a half by the time I drove from work to the lake, got changed, took boat over to the ramp, skied twice each, got changed and back to work).

Air 45 degrees and climbing. Water 46. Clear and sunny.
No wakeboarders. smile
