Well I'm planning to wholesale replace the icemaker in my Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator. It has bit it and I'm not in the mode to Troubleshoot.

Trouble is I'm having a hard time finding the correct unit.

My Sears Kenmore Elite is Model # 106.53602201

On the Sears Parts site, I only see the piece parts, and not a number for the whole unit. I don't know what the deal is there....

I believe my Kenmore Elite is a rebadged Whirlpool, but I can't find any cross reference there or on Whirlpool.

Anyone have access to a parts list that can cross reference my fridge to a specific model Icemaker?

I have a number that I *think* is it, but nothing to definitively confirm.

Apreciate any help....

I just checked repairclinic.com, same deal, all the parts but not the total unit. I'd call a parts shop, they'd know what's up.

I'm so cool I can keep ice cubes in my pockets...

Hopefully the above link is what you want. Fits most Kenmore units with the 106 prefix.

Next time try ebay. That's where I got mine. I searched for "Whirlpool Ice Maker Icemaker W10122502 & 2198597" and found them for <$60, including shipping.

That was my next choice, but the regular retailer on the second link was so much cheaper that other online retailers, it was an easy sell.

Received it in two days (priority mail).
