I just love saying that! -but that's what we did! Weather was perfect on my way home from work (2 days in a row, go figure!) so I picked up a couple of cheap sirloins, untied the house & out we went. Sun was just going down, which normally is run-&-hide-from-mosquitos-hour, but even the bugs didn't follow us. We stopped & fired up the BBQ, enjoyed a great dinner and a great sundown... Took a bunch of sundown shots, before we ate actually... here's a couple of the best ones. Second pic was taken 7 minutes after the first... And finally, a closeup... No wind, no waves, no bugs, great dinner, great view... Pretty much the most perfect sundown ride we've had in years. (Don't look now, but hell might be freezing over!)

FR, Those are some fantastic photos. Nothing like a romantic dinner cruise with the Mrs.FR. LBS

Whats it like to dock something like this? Depends entirely on the wind. We park on the west end of the dock, which is 43' long. The prevailing breeze is almost always either from NW or SW, so I just try to "Captain-Ron" the thing in close and let the wind help. However, if the wind is coming anywhere from the east, it's a whole new ball game, because it doesn't matter how close I get, the wind will push one end or the other away, and quick. We have a 'lasso' line up front, and I just try to get close enough for the admiral to get the loop around the front dock cleat. As long as that's done, then I just need to go forward with the wheel turned to port to remove the slack and get the stern against the dock. The most challenging place to park is the pumpout dock at the Provo harbor: --got a 24' worth of dock to land 53' of boat, but I'm getting used to it!
