I'm pretty sure there has been another thread on this company, however I'm simply flabberghasted at the level of craftsmanship. They hand fabricate nearly everything for the boat.
I looked through the string of pictures on Susan C and I can't imagine how many hours are in that boat - has to be between 10,000 and 20,000 at least. Looks like about 5 - 10 guys full time. At $50 an hour that would be 1/2 to $1 million in labor alone.

And that doesn't even include the mahogany, the stainless steel, the engines, the props, etc.
I'm betting they spent upwards of $1.5 million to get that boat on the water. Beautiful, yes, but wow, when you can buy an equivalent factory built boat for probably $300,000.
