Brian - Thanks for the help! thumb

Here are a few more in the slip (she doesn't fill the slip quite as well as my old boat did).

I'm curious as to what they changed on the rear swim deck to keep water from coming in through the transom walk through on a hard stop. Can you post a pic of the walk through?

Nice boat by the way, the blue/red combo looks nice.

I will take pics next time I go to the boat. Until then, there is a block that runs under the transom door, kind of like a threshold, that blocks the water on the swim platform from entering the cockpit. There is also a channel running along the Starboard side of the walkthru, as if to drain the water that reaches the threshold. However, this channel may also be for draining water out of the storage that is in the engine hatch.

With your post in the back of my mind, I have kept an eye on the water flowing onto the swim platform. Unless the stop is super slow, the wake does flow onto the swim platform, and can reach the transom door. However, no water has yet to breach the threshold.

This could probably be retrofitted easily.

I'll be out on the boat tomorrow so I will take a look, I think I have a small piece of "weatherspripping" (for lack of a better word) on the bottom of the transom walk through door. Most of my problem is I leave the door open most of the time since it is just the wife and myself on the boat.

I think I solved the problem myself though, it's all in how smooth the stop is. I don't think I even had water on the swim platform last weekend while we were out but i was easing back into a little throttle as the wave was approaching and then back to idle. I'm slowly becoming a boater and learning all the little tricks, this is our first boat.
