How do you keep the non-skid on your foredeck clean? It's a major pain to wax it, and so far I've had good luck with keeping it clean by just washing it with the rest of the boat. Does non-skid cleaner remove wax?
You could always use Woody Wax. I never used, I just kept the deck clean with regular boat soap and a big scrub brush. Deck looked good as new when we sold the boat...no fade what so ever.

careful with the woody stuff. once you start waxing, the hair grows in thicker next time and then it's just a brutal cycle. oh, he said deck. never mind.

I use Tilex for non-skid. It has bleach in it, and it seems to retain some residual bleach after application. Sometimes, the "dirt" in non-skid is actually mold, especially if the boat stays in the water. The Tilex keeps it from coming back, particularly around swim platforms.
The only problem with Tilex that I have found is that it "appears" to streak. I think that what happens is it cleans the areas where you overspray and the clean areas vs. slightly dirty areas does appear to leave streaks.
But a good wash and application of Tilex helps; as well as maintaining wax on the non, non-skid areas.
Also Tilex gets rid of bird-drop stains and spider "dots" as well.
Al...Tilex...really? Why would you use something that harsh to the environment? Like you said...it had bleach in it...not good for the water quality at all.

What else will Tilex do around the boat? Trailed boat in the driveway that is. I wouldn't use anything but biodegradable stuff while she's in the water though.

Haven't used it just yet. Still searching for that perfect product. Think I might start using that woody wax, and just keep it washed good. Right now it looks like new and I'd like to keep it that way, which will be hard to do with it under the sun all day.

Not true. Like I said in an earlier post. Our cruiser spent its life in a slip, bow exposed to the sun all summer long. I just made sure I washed the deck with boat wash each weekend, good as new when it sold.
