We have had my S-I-L and my two nieces up and they all wanted to go skiing so being the good uncle, I took them out. The girls are 15 and 13. The 15 year old got up on the wakeboard on her second try, the 13 year old couldn't get up but she enjoys knee boarding more. My S-I-L took 5 times before she could get up on the wakeboard.

After they all had their fun, I got my chance at the slalmon ski. My wife took off and I popped right up and off we went. I was pretty amazed that I got up the very first time since this was my first time this year. I tried to ski like Skibrain but I know I couldn't look minic his form. I fell and to confirm that my first attempt on getting up was not a fluke, I got up right away.

When I got home, I popped an asprin and wasn't feeling too bad yesterday however this morning, my muscles are a little sore.

Sunday was spent drying the boat out and getting it cleaned up from an afternoon of having some great fun.

To watch my two nieces have fun and hear them say thankyou at the end of the day is worth any price that gas is today.

The firstmate spent time swimming and hanging out in the tube and he did not want to get out of the water when it was time to go. I think our little skipper is beginning to like his mommy and daddy's weekend activities.

Sorry no pictures frown.

best cure I know for sore muscles is get out the next day and have another ski (hair of the dog).I agree seeing someone ski or board for the first time and the associated smiles is priceless
Have fun

I did the same thing last week. First time this year. Second mate was driving and I was trying a new ski. After three failed attempts, I switched back to the old ski and got right up. The trill of skiing is still there. The aches and pains are a little more intense each year but still well worth it. That's why they make pain medication.
